Quality content requires rigorous review. At Tool-web, every piece of content goes through a multi-stage review process before it reaches you. This page explains how we ensure accuracy, clarity, and trustworthiness across our site.

Public bylines and author pages identify the primary author and any named contributor roles we currently publish. Not every internal review step is attributed on-page yet, but every published page still follows the review process described here.
Every piece of content passes through five review stages. No content is published until all stages are complete.
Authors review their own work against our editorial checklist before submitting for peer review. This includes checking for factual accuracy, proper structure, clear language, and compliance with our style guide.
A second team member reviews the content independently. They verify claims, test tool descriptions against actual functionality, check for gaps in coverage, and ensure the content meets our quality bar.
For tool descriptions and technical guides, a developer verifies that all stated features, outputs, and browser compatibility claims are accurate. This includes hands-on testing in multiple browsers.
The editorial lead gives final approval before publication. They check consistency with existing content, verify all internal and external links, and ensure SEO metadata is appropriate.
After publishing, we monitor user feedback, support inquiries, and analytics to identify content that may need updating or improvement.
Reviewers evaluate content against six key criteria. Content must meet all six standards before it can be published:
Every claim must be verifiable. Tool features are tested directly, not copied from marketing materials. Statistics and data points must cite primary sources.
Code examples must work as described. Tool outputs must be verified against expected results. Browser compatibility claims must be tested.
Content must be understandable by the target audience. We use clear language, logical structure, and avoid unnecessary complexity.
Content must cover the topic thoroughly, including edge cases, limitations, and common pitfalls. We do not publish incomplete or placeholder content.
Content must reflect current tool capabilities and browser features. Outdated information is flagged for immediate update.
Every piece of content must provide clear value to users. If a page does not help users accomplish a task or make a decision, it is rewritten or removed.
